Ade serves as the Financial Operations Specialist for the Veteran Retreats Foundation, where he oversees the organization’s financial infrastructure, audit readiness, and grant compliance. Ade is responsible for transitioning the Foundation’s financial systems to meet federal audit standards, ensuring that VRF is positioned to secure high-value funding for its expanding retreat programs.
He holds a Master of Science in Economics & Finance for Development from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Babcock University. Ade brings over a decade of experience bridging strict financial governance with humanitarian impact. Previously, as a Finance Officer at the University of Bradford, he managed complex research grants and budgets, ensuring 100% compliance with funding regulations. His expertise in forensic analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies allows him to bring institutional-grade financial precision to the Foundation’s operations.
Ade’s professional rigor is matched by his deep commitment to trauma recovery and rehabilitation. As a Project Coordinator for I Am Somebody’s Child Soldier (IAMSCS), he led development initiatives for former child soldiers in Uganda, designing programs focused on economic reintegration and digital literacy for war-impacted youth. Now based in Chicago, Ade channels this unique blend of fiscal stewardship and compassion into VRF, ensuring that the financial systems supporting our veterans are as resilient as the men and women they serve.
