Your generosity changes lives. Founded in 2015, VRF covers the full cost of every retreat through community donations, corporate sponsorship, and grants.
Every retreat is free for the veterans who attend.
Every dollar directly supports veteran retreat programs, healing resources, and community events. There are currently over 100 veterans on our waiting list—your gift helps us reach them. Each retreat serves 12 veterans in an intimate setting that fosters fellowship on their lifelong journey of recovery.

Why your support matters
- Addiction & Recovery: Many veterans turn to substances to cope with the weight of PTSD. Our retreats offer a path to recovery built on understanding, accountability and hope.
- Fellowship & Peer Support: When veterans are surrounded by others in recovery, there is no divide. It’s all about relationships.
- Holistic Healing: Outdoor therapy, mindfulness and massage therapy help heal the whole person, mind, body and spirit, and complement conventional treatment.
- Restorative Well-Being: Participants leave feeling refreshed, affirmed, and equipped with tools for managing PTSD and balancing life.

Voices of our veterans
“Being out of the military you lose a lot of your support system. And as a Veteran you often feel you have to do things alone but my issues are common issues.”
“Everyone has different stories, things we are struggling through. Instead of just me against the world waiting for the axe to fall, I found partners to share the burden.”
Every gift supports a veteran’s healing journey.
Suicide is the second-leading cause of death for post-9/11 Veterans. Join a community of supporters helping VRF close the gap between veterans seeking help and the care they deserve.
