I was born September 9, 1977, in Edmonton AB where I join the Canadian Armed Forces on 19 Feb 97 in the Canadian Navy, serving as a Tactical Acoustics Sensors Operator with a tour on HMCS REGINA. In 2003 I made to change to Resources Management Support Clerk, specializing in Human Resources, Administration and Finances.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was medically released from the Canadian Armed Forces in 2016. During my 19+ years in the CAF I was awarded the Canadian Force Decoration (CD), Canadian Peace Keeping Service Medal (CPSM) and Special Service Medal (SSM) with Peace Bar. I now reside in the Belleville area with my wife Nikki. I am now a student with the Toronto Film School taking my diploma in Graphic Design and Interactive Media. Starting January 2024, I will be starting my Bachelor’s in Creative Arts with Yorkville University.
My reason for Volunteering with the Veterans Retreat Foundation, is mainly because there are brothers and sisters in arms that might need a hand, just like I was provided that same opportunity years ago.
